SSC Kerala Karnataka Region Recruitment 2012 – 55 Various Vacancies: Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Karnataka-Kerala Region has issued notification against recruitment of 55 Various Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 28-12-2012. SSC Vacancy Details:

Names of Posts:
1. Senior Technical Assistant: 01 post
2. Instructor (Fishing Technology): 01 post
3. Assistant: 02 posts
4. Draughtsman Grade-I: 03 posts
5. Seaman: 48 posts

Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 30 years for Sr Technical Asst, Instructor, Draughtsman posts, between 20 to 25 years for Asst post and between 18 to 25 years for Seaman post.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture of a recognized University or equivalent for Sr Technical Asst post, Master’s Degree in Zoology of Fishery Science or Industrial Fisheries from a recognized University or Post Graduate Diploma in Fishery Science from Central Institute of Fishery Education, Mumbai or Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) from a recognized University for Instructor (Fishing Technology) post and for remaining posts candidate should refer to the notification.

Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Rs. 50/-. No fee for Woman candidates, PH, SC, ST and Ex-Serviceman. Candidates have to pay fee in the shape of CRFS. These stamps are available at all departmental Post Offices of the country. These stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space provided for the purpose and after that they must get the Recruitment Stamp cancelled.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test, Proficiency Test, Interview/ Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test and Document Verification.

Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 01-11-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).

Educational Qualification:
i.Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai for Employees category and Agents category in both Urban and Rural area and Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai for applicant from Others category for recruitment as an Apprentice Development Officer in both Urban and Rural area.
ii. 7. Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the online application form at the appropriate places and click on the submit button at the end of page 1 of the online application form.
8. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per instructions at page 2 online application.
9. After upload the photograph and signature, incase of candidates who have paid the requisite application fee through NEFT, a registration number and password will be generated, candidates should note down the registration number and password for future reference (OR) incase candidates pay the fee through online payment gateway after the upload of photograph and signature page 3 of the application form is displayed.
10. After submission of online application candidates should note down the registration number and password for future reference and use.
11. After successfully submission of online application candidates should immediately take a print out of the system generated online application form for future reference.
12. No Acknowledgement will be given for online registration, however registration number and password will be generated and an e-mail/Sms intimation will be sent to the candidates. E-mail ID/Mobile no. specified in the online application form.
13. If candidates do not receive the e-mail and Sms intimations at the e-mail ID/Mobile number specified by them they may consider that their online application has not been successfully registered
14. Online application which is incomplete in any respect such as without the photograph and signature uploaded in the online application form will not be considered valid.
